How Disclaimers work

Disclaimers can be used instead of "Internal Use Only" since they can be included in customer-facing presentations. A disclaimer will pop up before opening the presentation.

Disclaimers can be activated for your team. You can contact Mobile Locker support if you don't see them in the Main Menu.

How to Create a Disclaimer

Click Disclaimers in the Main Menu. The list of disclaimers will appear here. Select New Disclaimer to create a new one.

When creating a Disclaimer, this page will display the following information:

  • Disclaimer Name
  • Title
  • Content
  • Presentations using this disclaimer - choose presentations with this disclaimer.
  • Status - can be Active or Inactive.

When you're done, you can click on Save.

You will also see this review at the bottom of what the pop-up will look like.

Now that you have created a disclaimer. When you switch to your Content Library and try to open the presentations with the disclaimer, it will prompt you to acknowledge or close.

  • Clicking Acknowledge will take you to the presentation, which you can view.
  • Clicking Close will take you to the Content Library and not let you view it.


How to Edit a Disclaimer

Click the name of the Disclaimer to modify.

Edit the Disclaimer as needed. Then, you can click Save. You can also delete a Disclaimer by selecting the Delete button on the right.
