How to Load Contacts for Other Mobile Locker Users

This help article will show you how, as an administrator, you can load contacts for another user from the administration portal.

Navigate to Contacts in the Main Menu.

Click Upload.

This screen will appear, where you can Download the template or manually fill in the spreadsheet.

Mobile Locker user email, contact email, contact first name, and contact last name are required. All other fields are optional.

Ensure the contact file is formatted correctly (check that it includes fields like Mobile Locker User Name, Contact Email, Contact First Name, Contact Last Name, etc.).

  • Mobile Locker user email - the email address of the active user to whom this contact will belong.
  • Contact email - The record will be updated if it already exists in the user's contact list.
  • Contact greeting type - Formal is the default. If the user is on a first-name basis with a person, select "Personal."
  • Email list name - Optionally add the contact to a new or existing email list

Please review the list of contacts and assigned user(s). When you are finished, click UPLOAD.

This message will prompt once the contacts have been successfully imported.

You can then verify that those are loaded by going into Contacts and searching for the active user(s).

You will also see the added contact(s) now available for the user to email.
