What is Mobile Locker AI Assistant?

Overview

The Mobile Locker AI Assistant is an intelligent search tool that helps you quickly find information across your presentation library. Instead of manually browsing through files, you can simply ask questions in plain language—like you're asking a colleague—and the AI searches your available presentations to find the answers.

It's particularly useful for teams in pharmaceutical, biotech, and life sciences organizations who need to quickly access information from compliance documents, regulatory filings, clinical trial data, training materials, and operational guides.

How to Access It

The AI Assistant is built right into Mobile Locker. Look for the "Ask AI Assistant" search box in your Mobile Locker interface. You can ask it questions about any of your presentations that are enabled for AI search.

Note: Only presentations marked with the "AI Enabled" badge (green icon with sparkles ✨) are searchable by the AI Assistant. Your administrator controls which presentations can be searched.

How to Use It

Simply type your question in plain language and press Enter. The AI will:

1. Search across your enabled presentations

2. Find relevant information

3. Summarize and present answers with source document references

4. Cite which presentations it used, so you can review the original if needed

Example: Let's say you ask...

"Which files discuss our adverse event reporting procedures?"

The AI might respond:

"There are 2 files in Mobile Locker that discuss adverse event reporting. The Safety Protocols Manual provides step-by-step reporting procedures and contact information. The Quality Assurance Guidelines mention the AE reporting process as part of broader quality compliance."

You can then click on those presentations to review the full details.

Types of Questions It Can Answer

The AI Assistant is smart enough to understand different kinds of questions:

📁 Finding Files

  • "Which presentations cover patient recruitment strategies?"
  • "Do we have any files about post-market surveillance?"
  • "Show me files related to clinical trial design."

📚 Learning About Topics

  • "What is the difference between Phase II and Phase III clinical trials?"
  • "Explain what a Protocol Amendment is"
  • "Define our company's approach to patient safety."

📖 Getting Instructions

  • "How do I report a safety incident?"
  • "Steps to submit a regulatory filing"
  • "How to conduct a site audit."

  • "Summarize the key points in our 2026 Compliance Roadmap."
  • "What are the main trends in patient retention?"
  • "Give me an overview of our new labeling requirements."

🔍 Finding Specific Information

  • "When was the new pharmacovigilance policy released?"
  • "What is the required sample size for this trial?"
  • "Who is the primary contact for quality issues?"

⚖️ Comparing Information

  • "Compare our internal process versus the FDA's requirements."
  • "What's different between the original protocol and the amendment?"
  • "How does our approach differ from the competitor comparison in the files?"

Tips for Best Results

DO:

  • Use natural language—ask questions the way you'd ask a colleague
  • Be specific about what you're looking for
  • Ask follow-up questions to dive deeper into topics
  • Reference the source presentations when discussing findings with colleagues

DON'T:

  • Ask about information outside your file library (the AI only knows what's in your presentations)
  • Expect answers about external regulations or data that the AI hasn't been trained on
  • Use the AI as a replacement for official compliance documentation—always verify with authoritative sources

What the AI Assistant Can't Do

The AI Assistant searches only the presentations available in Mobile Locker. It cannot:

  • Access external databases or the internet
  • Provide medical or legal advice
  • Access presentations that haven't been marked as "AI Enabled"
  • Make decisions—it finds and summarizes information for you to use
  • Guarantee 100% accuracy—always verify critical information with authoritative sources

When You Can't Find an Answer

If the AI responds that it doesn't have information about something, it could mean:

1. The information isn't in your available presentations — Ask your team lead or administrator if a relevant document should be added to Mobile Locker

2. The presentation exists but isn't marked as AI-enabled — Your administrator may need to enable it

3. The information exists, but is worded differently — Try rephrasing your question

4. It's sensitive information — Some presentations may be restricted from AI search for compliance reasons

How the AI Classifies Your Questions

The AI Assistant automatically analyzes your question and classifies it into one of eight types. Each classification helps the AI determine the best way to search for and present information:

📋 Document Recommendation

What you're asking: "Which files discuss this topic?" or "Do we have documents about...?"

The AI identifies which presentations in your library are relevant to your search topic, often based on document names, types, and labels. It tells you which presentations exist and briefly describes what they cover.

Examples:

  • "Which files discuss our adverse event reporting procedures?"
  • "Do we have any documents about post-market surveillance?"
  • "Show me files related to clinical trial design."

📝 Content Extraction

What you're asking: "Tell me about..." or "Explain this concept in our files."

The AI searches for specific, detailed information within your documents and provides substantive answers with context. This is the most flexible category—any question that doesn't fit the specific types below often falls here.

Examples:

  • "Tell me about our patient recruitment strategy."
  • "What are the main components of our quality assurance process?"
  • "Explain how our company handles regulatory compliance."

📚 Summarization

What you're asking: "Summarize this file" or "Give me the key points."

The AI condenses the important information from a document or topic into a brief overview, highlighting main ideas without excessive detail.

Examples:

  • "Summarize the key points in our 2024 Compliance Roadmap."
  • "Give me an overview of our new labeling requirements."
  • "What are the highlights of the Safety Protocols Manual?"

⚖️ Comparison

What you're asking: "How do these differ?" or "What's the difference between...?"

The AI compares and contrasts two or more concepts, processes, or documents from your library, helping you understand what makes them different.

Examples:

  • "Compare our internal process versus the FDA's requirements."
  • "What's different between the original protocol and the amendment?"
  • "How does our approach differ from the competitor analysis in the files?"

🔍 Definition

What you're asking: "What is this term?" or "Define this concept."

The AI explains the meaning of a specific term or concept based on information in your documents.

Examples:

  • "What is a Protocol Amendment?"
  • "Define pharmacovigilance."
  • "Explain what a Phase III clinical trial is."

📖 How-To

What you're asking: "How do I do this?" or "What are the steps to...?"

The AI provides step-by-step instructions or procedures for completing a task.

Examples:

  • "How do I report a safety incident?"
  • "Steps to submit a regulatory filing"
  • "How to conduct a site audit."

🎯 Factual Lookup

What you're asking: "What is the specific value/date/number?" or "Who is responsible for...?"

The AI finds exact data points like numbers, dates, names, or specific facts from your documents.

Examples:

  • "When was the new pharmacovigilance policy released?"
  • "What is the required sample size for this trial?"
  • "Who is the primary contact for quality issues?"

📊 Trend Analysis

What you're asking: "What are the trends in...?" or "Is this topic growing?"

The AI identifies patterns and trends across multiple documents, synthesizing data to show you what's changing over time.

Examples:

  • "What are the main trends in patient retention?"
  • "Is compliance cost growing year over year?"
  • "What patterns do you see in our adverse events data?"
