Mobile Locker now has a dedicated environment for European users. If you are an existing user located in the European Union, you can now store your data in Europe rather than The United States. 


Why the change?

The European Union has regulations that are different from those of the United States, including GDPR and other laws that European companies are subject to.

Because of these regulations, we now have dedicated servers that our European customers can utilize.


I'm an existing U.S. customer. What does this mean for me and my team?

If you are an existing Mobile Locker customer based in the US, nothing will change. You can still access the Mobile Locker Platform ( https://app.mobilelocker.com (our "Global" region).

However, before you sign in, it will prompt you to select your region.  The US/Global region is the default.


Do I have to sign in again, and will I have to re-download the presentations?

You do not have to sign in again, and you do not have to re-download anything.


I'm a European customer, and I'd like to move our Mobile Locker account to the European environment.

Contact your Mobile Locker account manager or support@mobilelocker.com.


We have Mobile Locker users in Europe and the US. Can we use both environments?

Yes, please contact your Mobile Locker account manager or support@mobilelocker.com.


Do we have to update the mobile apps on our iPads/laptops/tablets?

We always recommend using the latest versions of our apps because they often include performance improvements and bug fixes.

On Sunday, October 2, 2022, we updated the Mobile Locker iOS app in the Apple App Store to version 3.18.0. We suggest that you always use the latest version of the iOS app.

If your IT department utilizes Mobile Locker for iPads, ask them to pull version 3.18.0 from the Apple app store.

We are updating the Windows, Outlook, and Gmail apps soon.
