How to Update Mobile Locker for Gmail Chrome Extension

Automatic Updates (Recommended)

Chrome extensions typically update automatically, but this process can take up to 24-48 hours. To check if your extension has updated automatically:

1. Open Chrome and navigate to Gmail
2. Look for the Mobile Locker icon in your Gmail compose window
3. Check the version number by right-clicking the extension icon in your browser toolbar and selecting "Manage extension."

Manual Update (For Immediate Access)

If you want to access the new features right away, follow these steps to manually trigger an update:

Method 1: Through Chrome Extensions Page

1. Open Chrome and type chrome://extensions/ in the address bar
2. Press Enter to navigate to the Extensions page
3. Toggle on "Developer mode" using the switch in the top-right corner
4. Click the "Update" button that appears in the top-left corner
5. Wait for the update to complete (you'll see a spinning icon)
6. Toggle off "Developer mode" once the update is finished
