How to clear cache in the Windows app

Clear the Windows app cache from Developer Settings. Do not use Chrome DevTools, Disable cache, or Ctrl+R from the previous Desktop app.

Clear Cache is for this PC's stored files in the app. It is not the same as uninstall, and it is not Send Diagnostic Logs.

Clear cache

  1. In the left sidebar, click your profile, then Settings.
  2. Under Developer, click Developer Settings.
  3. Scroll to Storage.
  4. Read Cache Size, then click Clear Cache.

Changing Environment or Region in the same window will sign you out when you click Done. Do not change those unless support asks you to.

If that is not enough

  • Click Refresh in Content Library.
  • Send diagnostic logs if support asked for them.
  • Uninstall still keeps app data under %LocalAppData%\MobileLocker  unless support gives you extra wipe steps.
