Uninstall the Mobile Locker Windows App
Use these steps to remove the Mobile Locker Windows App from your PC. This is the current Windows-only app (version 5.x). It is not the previous Desktop app, and it is not the old version 2.x product.
Company-managed PCs. If IT installed Mobile Locker for you, ask them before you uninstall. They may need to remove it from Intune so it does not come back.

Confirm which app you have
Open Settings > Apps > Installed apps and find Mobile Locker. Read the version.

If the version is 2.x, stop. That is a different product. See Remove the previous Windows app (for IT) or ask support.
Uninstall from Windows Settings
- Quit Mobile Locker if it is open.
- Open Windows Settings.
- Go to Apps > Installed apps.
- Find Mobile Locker.
- Click the three dots next to it, then click Uninstall.
- Confirm when Windows asks.
You do not need administrator rights for this uninstall. The app was installed for your user only.
What is removed
- Removed: the app binaries (including
current\and the updater). - Kept: local app data under
%LocalAppData%\MobileLocker(database, settings, logs). Your Mobile Locker account on the server is not deleted.
If support later asks you to clear local data, they will give you separate steps. Do not delete that folder unless they tell you to.
Reinstall later
Install again with the current Setup. See Install the Mobile Locker Windows App. Sign in with the same account.
