Install the Mobile Locker Windows App
This article is for the Mobile Locker Windows App (the current Windows-only app). It is not the previous Desktop app, and it does not run on a Mac.
Does your company install software for you? If Mobile Locker appears in Company Portal or another IT catalog, do not download Setup yourself. Ask your administrator. IT steps are in Deploy the Windows app with Intune.
Before you install
Your PC must meet these requirements:
- Windows 10 version 2004 (build 19041) or later, or Windows 11
- 64-bit (x64). On ARM PCs the app runs as x64 under emulation. There is no ARM64 build.
- About 200 MB of free disk space for the app, plus space for presentations you download later
The Setup installs for your Windows user only. It does not need administrator rights, and it does not write to Program Files.
Previous apps: If Settings still shows an older Mobile Locker (version 2.x, or the previous Desktop app), ask IT before you install this one. Two Mobile Locker apps on the same PC can open the wrong product.
Download and install
- Download the signed Setup: MobileLocker-beta-Setup.exe.
- Open your Downloads folder and double-click MobileLocker-beta-Setup.exe.
- Finish the Setup. It installs under your user profile and adds Mobile Locker to the Start menu. It also adds a Desktop shortcut.

Beta Setup. This is the current installer for the new Windows app. The stable Setup is not published yet. If your company gives you a different file, use that file instead.
Do not use the old website download that saved a file named like Mobile Locker Setup 2.0.2. That installer is a previous product.
Open the app
- Open the Start menu and type Mobile Locker.
- Click Mobile Locker.
- The login screen appears: navy background, white Mobile Locker logo, and a white sign-in card. The version (for example v5.0.0) is under the card, next to Help.

If you cannot install
- Windows may block the download. Click Keep or More info in Microsoft Edge, then run the Setup again.
- If your company blocks per-user installs, contact your administrator. They can deploy the same Setup with Intune.
- If Setup never starts, email support@mobilelocker.com.
