Create an Email Template

Select the Email Templates tab from the Main Navigation Menu.

Click New Template.

This page allows you to customize the Email template.

  1. Users or groups who can use the template
  2. Template Details include a Unique Name, Asset ID, and Folder the template should be in and the Brand the template is associated with.
  3. Add a Subject Line.
  4. Choose the type of Editor.
  5. Include a Preheader text if needed.

To prevent a user from editing the subject line, you can tick this on or off.

An Editor is used to edit email templates.  

You must choose TinyMCE or Unlayer to allow for editing. 

This page displays the body of the email.

You can add unique content to your email. 

You can also personalize the email to include a recipient's name and a specific greeting.

The tags/tokens are now highlighted in blue. The non-editable sections have a reddish background.

Click Insert Tag to see the available custom tags. If you want the user to be able to share files, be sure to include this tag:

{% if presentation_name %}{{ share_link }}{% else %}[INSERT LINKS HERE]{% endif %}

Advanced Settings should be reserved for your marketing department or agency.

Instructions can be included on how to use the template.

These instructions will be displayed when the user is composing the email.


Status and Availability can be added.

Select Active or Inactive and choose a release and expiration date.

Choose additional settings for your template.

Click Save.

To send a Test Email, scroll to the top of the browser. Click Actions.

Choose Send Test.
